We are a team dedicated to returning to the heart of hospice care—putting patients, families, and providers at the center of the experience. Unlike the corporate model of hospice, our mission is to restore the personal, flexible, and compassionate approach that honors the dignity of each life. Working to ensure a sanctuary of comfort and care for those entrusted in our service.
Primrose Hospice follows all relevant regulations to ensure quality patient care and our team members are properly licensed or authorized, well trained and qualified to meet the needs of our patients.
Local and Loving
Proudly serving the Portland Metro & surrounding areas, our locally owned and operated hospice program is built by people who have done the daily work of caring for others in medical, clinical, and daily caregiving roles with multiple decades of cumulative care experience for the aging community. In addition, all Primrose Hospice staff undergo a thorough screening and background check process, ensuring that the people caring for you or your loved one are trustworthy, skilled and compassionate.
Philosophy
The Hospice Philosophy accepts decline, provides support and manages symptoms as an individual transitions from this life. While affirming life, hospice provides no service hastening or postponing death. Rather, a team of professionals work together to be a sanctuary of comfort and care to the hospice patient and their loved ones, managing symptoms of discomfort, supporting the individual in maintaining a dignified quality of life for themselves and their families, and ensuring a caring transition at the end of life.
At Primrose Hospice, we strive to provide the highest standard of comprehensive comfort care to our patients, wherever they call 'home'. Our inter-disciplinary team manages care and visits regularly to provide support & necessary interventions to alleviate symptoms and optimize patient comfort.
We're available 24 hours per day and 365 days per year.
